Add Subcontract Beginning Date to SL Reports

When we need to add an SL item, you need to pull the subcontract back into a batch. You need to know the month/year that the subcontract was entered originally. Other than referring back to a paper copy of the original interface report, how can you easily find it if it doesn't show on any reports?
