In the section about (found in Vista, Help, AP, Prior mth payment reversal), the sentence at the end that says "The prepaid reversing transaction includes the retainage amount" made me think it would kick back retainage so that I could work with it, rather than what I think it actually means that it would be kept in retainage and only allow the payable amount to be worked on. (In this case, we had entered an invoice, then reversed payment because a lower amount should actually had been paid - and we thought it would bring retainage back as well, but it didn't. So then we had to use Hold and Release to release just $17.50 of retainage to their payment so that our status report continued to match their pay applications.) It would be great if an option would exist in the AP Prior Mth Payment Reversal section so that you can choose whether to include retention as part of the new transaction, or keep it as is. Not every check reversal is for the same exact amount.
