Your short dates of 1/1/50 are NOT descriptive enough. Please get on board with the rest of the world and support YYYY-MM-DD, or at least whatever the system internationalization is set to, instead of always truncating the year field to two digits. I thought we'd discussed this back around Y2K....
You SHOULD allow entry in the STANDARD format YYYY-MM-DD, as that is how it's stored in the DB. I understand confusion reguarding the entry of M/D/YY, or D/M/YY, but YYYY-MM-DD is about as unambiguous as you can get.
Please give it some thought. :-)
