If I set a field in PM Project Phases to Disable Input (in System Overrides tab), it grays it out. Awesome. Then I go into PM Projects to the phases tab, go to the field I just disabled and I can modify the data there. Both pull from the same JCJPPM view. If I open the field properties, the disable input box that I just checked is still checked. This happens on any Vista field in these tables, built-in or custom. I opened a support case but we might need user input to push Vista to fix it.

https://vistaerp.ideas.aha.io/ideas/PF-I-278, I didn't know that "Disable input" was available, they must have added it with a recent release! Perhaps they are still working out the bugs!
Side note, this also works if you set a field in PR Automatic Earnings to disable input and go to PR Employees to the Automatic earnings tab, whatever field you set to disable input, you can now modify. Seems like any view that pulls in an already existing grid as a tab, loses its attributes, which is interesting because the "display in grid" checkbox seems to work appropriately.
