Please allow us to use placeholders (question marks) within the From field when designing User Defined Lookups.
Giving us this flexibility would allow us to use functions as sources, just like we can in normal SQL code.
For people not familiar with how User Defined Lookups work, they are basically a place to define the "what the database presents" when a user taps F4 within a field.
The design is as follows:
From field: Usually a table name like "PREH"
Where field: Usually some kind of filter, like "PRCo=? and Employee=?"
Join field: Usually where other table are joined
Currently we can put placeholders (question marks) in the Where field, but not the From field.
We also cannot put placeholders in the Join field.
