In various grids, two examples are PR Employees and PM Contracts, you are able to sort based on certain columns but you must do that every time you open a grid.
Using the above examples, Inactive Employees always show and so do Hard Closed projects. Why can a custom view not be saved? You may want to "hide" certain information but have the ability to "unhide".
