Your web interface "Comment Sanitizer" within the "View Case" window is a little too overactive and turns nicely formatted clipboard data into garbage by removing newlines.
Grab an error from Vista's error log "Copy Log", then paste into the "Add a comment" area in a case, then hit submit and see how it turns out.
Remove (or disable) code that strips newlines.
Newlines are often used in LOGS to separate sequential events, or a trace of one event.
Newlines are often used by WRITERS to separate IDEAS or logical groupings of thoughts. Stripping newlines reduces the LEGABILITY of the text.
Cramming everything into one paragraph INCREASES frustration and the time it takes to visually parse and understand the content.
Removing paragraph breaks can significantly ALTER THE MEANING of a comment, and thus the ability to communicate clearly.
