HSA deductions and HSA contributions are combined under the same limit. The deduction has no current way to know about the amounts in the liability. It would be great to have something like the pre-tax groups ability to share one limit over several deductions and/or liabilities.

I agree that there must be a way to combine limits for HSA deducts & liabilities. Currently we are keeping track of this manually. We have several employees who overwithhold during the year and max out before year-end. We have to keep track of the maximum manually be employee.
As amazing as Viewpoint software is, I would think it would be a priority to assist users to stay within IRS guidelines of HSA limits including the employee deduction as well as the employer match. I hope this is a fix that is considered urgent.
