The rule in EM is that tools cannot bill the job until they are transferred. After the initial set up the only way that the tool should move is by transfer.
So why is there not a way to allow the initial set up of the tool and then not allow the EM Equipment form fields for LOCATION and JOB to be changed manually. They should only change by transfers.
That principle is used by Vista in other modules. Once a customer, vendor, site is set up it does not allow you to change it manually later. EM is a perfect example of where to apply that same rule. Especially since the transfer can move or 'fix' any typos done.
It just seems like it should be common sense with the transfer process in place.
