Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

Please review the inability of being able to “override standard limits” when limits are defined in a pre-tax group. We have experienced legitimate circumstances when the standard limit needs to be overridden, specifically for Health Savings Account contributions: two of these circumstances are (1) when both an employees’ spouse is receiving a contribution from his/her employer, requiring that our employee must limit his/her contribution since the HSA contribution is a household total (vs being an individual total) and (2) when an employee changes from family to single or single to family during the course of the year. The employees’ total max contribution is now prorated by the months he/she participated in each type of coverage. I disagree with Viewpoints solution of creating another deduction code outside of the pre-tax group. That just creates more file maintenance for our staff.
