For any coverage that asks an employee to specify whether he or she wants to make a contribution (e.g., an HSA or FSA plan), the amount that is asked for in the HRM Employee Portal should be an annual contribution amount instead of an amount per pay period. The system should then automatically calculate the amount per pay period and display that as well. An annual amount would be much more beneficial for the employee to see if they are contributing as much as possible to the plans under IRS rules if desired.
