Submit Your Suggestions for Vista

We have efiled our own tax documents for years, with the recent software change your are forcing us to use a 3rd party services, that is not only expensive, but also lucking functionality and comes with major security gaps. If customers now have to encounter additional cost for what used to be part of software assurance package, are you getting us a discount on monthly maintenance or how is this regulatory change beneficial to any customers?

Please make it possible for users to efile their own 1099s, W2s, and 1095s, regulatory year-end reporting needs to be brought back to Vista, as this is essential part of any core accounting suite, and this is how we were sold the software. Now, since you are trying to replace it with a paid 3rd party service, customers are loosing value in Vista.

Aatrix service is not meant for large companies, the functionality is just not there. It does allow to do the initial data pull from Vista, which is extremely slow, but if corrections are needed, then we have to pull data from the history file and changes have to be made in both Vista and Aatrix creating a lot of room for human error.

Aatrix has a bunch of security issues starting with single sign on per EIN for all types of reporting on top of local client updates, would never pass any security audit.

For those customers that are using the HR portal to display W2s and 1095s, it creates whole bunch of extra work in maintaining e-consent by employee, entering changes multiple times and insuring the integrity of the data, since Aatrix did not pull W2 detail from the same place portal data comes from to generate W2 forms on the portal.

To recap, I would not call Aatrix a scalable product for larger companies and it is not integrated with Vista at all, we can maybe call it poorly interfaced at most. The way Aatrix sells it's product and the way it was somewhat connected to Vista, customers had to pay for their most expensive full service offering for each part of regulatory reporting to make any sense, the rest of the options are nothing but pain, but even with the full service option, the experience was EXTREMELY poor, pronged to error, and decreased the value of the HR portal.
