For employees who have overtime hours as well as non-hour related gross earnings (such as additional pay for being on-call that is not based on hours worked), the basis for the overtime rate should include the non-hours related earnings in the OT base rate. Accordingly, the OT premium rate is inflated to greater than just 1.5x the employee's standard hourly pay rate. Vista does not currently include these earnings that are non-hour based in the OT basis calculation (there is a checkbox to "include in OT Calculations" in PR Earnings Codes, but this only includes hour-based earnings). This results in having to make manual calculation adjustment to the overtime earnings.
