The process of closing and opening months is painful. If I've opened a period for subledger adjustment, requiring the GL to be open I'd prefer to simply open the GL and be notified that doing so will also open subledgers back to that period as well and be able to complete this in 1 step.
Likewise, upon finishing any adjustments that required opening subledgers, I'd like to simply close the GL and be notified that will also close all open subledgers.
These changes would greatly simplify opening and closing periods where needed.
