I would love to see an on boarding tool that would be task based, these tasks would have predecessors, and notifications embedded. Here is a quick example.
New Employee has signed an employment offer, this offer is pushed to Vista. Then procurement is tasked with purchasing a new laptop, iPad, and phone. Once procurement has the devices, the IT team is notified of the persons first and last name plus the computer, phone, and ipad serial number and mac address for assent Managment (could be pushed to vista too). Lastly once IT has set up the devises, the phone number, email address etc is automatically sent to the admin team so they can create email signatures, purchase business cards etc.
This workflow is an easy one, I would be more than happy to help the team work through many other workflows that could get into topics like: assigning a company vehicle, company credit card, etc
