Adobe and use of pdf's crash

So very tired of Adobe crashing in the middle of saving attachments to attach in Vista. I cannot open/save attachments from my Outlook (via Remote Desktop) without Adobe crashing so I have to open Outlook on my local desktop and copy to remote desktop to attach. WAY TOO MUCH MOVING TAKING WAY TOO MUCH TIME! Can you possibly fix it or offer another pdf program that is more compatible with Vista?

  Can you clarify where Viewpoint requires "Adobe"? We don't have Adobe here, but use an assortment of other PDF programs to create, modify, and print PDFs.
