This is imperative that we have an option. Relying on the cloud is ideal for Trimble and Vista as an ERP provider, but it gives zero ability to your customers to function with on-prem or hybird environments who have done so for over a decade. With the ongoing issues with Cyber security and reliance on the cloud, we are now unable for the first time ever to access our system due to it now being on the cloud. In the past we could resolve the issues and/or still process critical things like Payroll manually even if the HR portal or applications were not working. This is a huge oversight on the reality of how companies use your programs in our day to day environments, and how ERPs are managing programs they offer to their customers. While some want cloud, others have appreciated the ability to use your platform without it and are not forced to something we don't want. Who holds the liability for customers not being able to pay our employees on time should it come to that.
