For the accounting manager and team, there needs to be a verification and review process for journal entries. Each year we are audited, the auditors ask if there is a process in place for the preparer to enter the journal entry and for the manager to review and post the entry. In the current "General Ledger" program, there is no way to tell if there was a two-step verification that the entry was entered. It's part of GAAP procedures for companies to have this. This is also the case for Cash Management Entries.
