I would like to propose a system enhancement within Viewpoint Vista that could improve efficiency and accountability across the Accounts Payable team.
Currently, all AP personnel work from a single shared grid, which often results in duplicate efforts, accidental overwrites, and delays in processing. To streamline workflow and create clearer accountability, I suggest implementing individual AP grids assigned to each team member.
Benefits of this approach include:
Clear ownership of invoice entry and tracking
Reduced risk of errors from overlapping work
Improved visibility into individual workloads and performance
Faster issue resolution, as invoices would be easier to trace back to the responsible party
This structure would align with how we’ve divided responsibilities operationally and allow for better reporting and follow-up on outstanding items.
