Sometimes a PM will ask their biller to de-activate a phase code on his job, but forgets there are open PO's using that phase. AP doesn't find out until later when trying to post invoices & then needs to request that phase be opened again so the PO can be changed & invoice posted. A warning notice when de-activating a phase code with a list of open PO's would be helpful so the PO's could be changed at that time instead of the inconvenience of finding out later & having to re-activate the phase.
