Why does the system not go back to all timecards affected and automatically calculate a retro for the hours/earnings affected. For example, if a rate change is done July 12 but the effective date is done May 1, why can't the system auto calculate for all timecards prior to July 12 when the next payroll is processed. It will save time and provide more accurate payrolls

Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.
To piggyback on this suggestion, why not include retros to fringes as well? There's a lot of manual calculating when contracts are agreed upon well after the effective date.
Agreed! I'm a former Spectrum user (also owned by Trimble/Viewpoint), and it had a retro pay feature that allowed for either a manual or automatic calculation. It would be nice if Vista had the same feature.
