The majority of information entered in the JB Progress Billing tab is data that customers should be able to view on their invoices. Providing visibility into this information would help improve transparency and allow customers to more easily cross reference billed amounts.

Currently, the JB Progress Invoice does not include sufficient columns or options to clearly show the units and amounts associated with progress billing. This lack of detail makes it difficult for customers to fully understand what has been billed for a given period.

Adding the ability to include additional columns on the JB Progress Invoice would greatly enhance clarity and usability. These columns could be optional, allowing flexibility for users who may not require the added detail.

Additionally, offering a layout option between Portrait and Landscape would be beneficial. Some fields do not wrap text properly and may be cut off in Portrait view. A Landscape option would allow more columns to be displayed and improve overall readability.

The recommended column order is as follows:

• Contract Item

• Item Description

• Unit Price

• Contract Units

• Contract Amount

• To Date Units

• To Date Amount

• Current Units (This Bill WC Units)

• Current Amount (This Bill WC Amount)

• Retainage Amount

• % Completion

Finally, reducing the spacing between the Contract Item and Item Description columns would help free up space to accommodate the additional fields.
