I like input from users but I do not think all of my users should have access to the suggestion box. Even people who do part time data entry have access to this and it's really not what we want them spending their time doing.

We do understand the desire to more tightly control feedback from end users. However, the purpose behind our suggestion box capability is to increase the visibility of Viewpoint into the diverse and varying needs of our customer-base. As such, it runs counter to the purposes of this capability to limit who can submit suggestions to just a tailored set of a few individuals.
One thing to note is that Ideas are not limited in terms of number or frequency. As such, there is no impact to the ability of organizations to continue to prioritize critical suggestions.
As to the matter of employee discipline and ensuring effective use of work hours, that is unfortunately not a matter that changing Vista may effectively address.
As such, though we do understand the desire for this capability, we will not implement it.

We have the exact same problem that Jim listed. A user accidentally hit the link when Viewpoint is a Remote App. Now, they can't get rid of the webpage.
If the Vista client is a published app then the Suggestion Box will try to launch a web browser within their remote session causing technical problems. If the Suggestion Box link could be removed using VA Form Security then that could prevent errors some users are having.
