Look at the left hand side of the Vista screen. See all those folders? Tap on one. Oh, that's right, not much happens. You have to expand the 'Programs' or 'Reports' folder for anything to be visible on the right.
If Viewpoint is not already considering a basic redesign of the left hand navigation pane, may I humbly suggest the following?
This has the following advantages:
| Company | Cutting Edge Plumbing & Mechanical |
| Job Title / Role | Developer |
| I need it... | 6 months |
Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.
This would definitely help us as well. Right now, we have created work centers for our project managers and if they need a report that isn't available through the work center they often run into the exact same issue described above when trying to navigate the folder system. It's not a big deal for those of us that only use the folder system, but it would definitely help upper management who all of a sudden think they don't have access to anything but just haven't double-clicked to open the folder.
