We dispatch to several locations and if we could color code according to location it would be an easy visual to see what location a tech was in by color on the dispatch board. This would speed up the scheduling considerably.

We would like to be able to add/edit color coding of the background of the trip on the board to indicate that the trip has been CONFIRMED with the customer, as opposed to just scheduled. We need to know at a glance whether a trip can be moved to another day/time easily, or whether we would have to reconfirm the trip with the customer.
Starting in v6.14, we have the ability to color code by CALL TYPE. If, by location, you mean Service Site...that would require A LOT of colors! I see many customers with 1000s of Service Sites. If you mean Service Center (usually the geographic location from which you dispatch technicians, but your configuration may vary), then you can open different Dispatch Boards and filter by Service Center.
