When your entering information if you don't input something that is required you keep getting error messages. It won't allow you input the information it's asking for!!!!! We end up having to go to task manager to shut the program down because the errors won't stop!!!!

Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.
I think this particular issue (inability to go back to the field that is causing the error) has to do with dropdowns being validated.
What is annoying is actually the focus shift required for mouse <-> keyboard to tap the OK button on the error message. (or tap ENTER or ESC?)
I suggest VP should follow best UX practices for form field validation, as seen on the Mobile, Web, and OS land for many years. Things to keep in mind: https://medium.com/@andrew.burton/form-validation-best-practices-8e3bec7d0549
The Dialog box is NOT the proper way. I'd suggest a mouse tip (but anchored to the top right of the field) with appropriate coloring. I'm sure they are dealing with this in a much better way on their TEAM product (web solution), but it would be nice to see some love given to the desktop as well.
It would seem like an error upon saving the record would be sufficient. We should be able to navigate through the record without getting an error on each field that is wrong.
