Custom format for Date Fields (especially in UD tables/fields)

I'd love to be able to see all my dates as YYYY-MM-DD, or even YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss, if the control type is set to "textbox".

If the control type is "Month" or "Date", then by all means follow the current system. But if we have it set as "TextBox", PLEASE let us control the formatting of the data.

 

If you need ideas on letters to use in formatting, may I suggest the format letters used in https://momentjs.com/docs/#/displaying/?
