Need a good report to track what is in WIP

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEMThere is not a good report for tracking WIP in SM. The customer wants a report to see how much is in WIP.

    A standard SM WIP report was released in 6.18 - does this meet expectations?

    Find a good local programmer and have them make a report for you that gives you exactly what you want.  Anyone with Crystal Reporting can do that for you.  You will be amazed at what they can do and cheap.  The key is to find a good programmer that does not charge more than your lawyer.

    Hey Scott; we already do track what is in Service WIP. We created a separate G/L account for Service WIP and then use the SM Work Completed to GL Reconciliation report to track what is in Service WIP. Since that report can summarize by Account, Month, Work Order or Work Completed Level and you can run it for ALL work orders or just OPEN ones it shows you all of the detail that makes up that Service WIP account.
