Need to Have Ability to Change the Serviceable Item # on existing without having to re-add as a new serviceable item

Often times a serviceable item is either entered with the wrong number initially, or later down the road we may want to re-number all equipment at a service site if units are added, removed, or replaced.

    note that the auto number doesn't work in Field Service and that would be helpful with this and may reduce this need

    What is the status of this planned fix? We have serviceable items that we labeled incorrectly. For instance, instead of a dehumidifier it says dehuminize. I am sure you can see why this is critical. Our customers are seeing this and we need to fix it. We need to be able to change it so we can keep the history with the equipment.

    any update on this one ? This is a huge inconvenient that we have to re enter if the ID number changes.

    Any idea on the timeline when this might be implemented?  This is something that would help a lot of our headaches with serviceable item naming.
