The AR Cash Receipts import form is missing the Viewpoint Routine. The Template Detail is missing all the form detail.
To my knowledge a Standard Viewpoint AR CashReceipt import template has never been created nor any AR CashReceipt Viewpoint Default logic routine. I scoured all import related database objects for any sign of an AR CashReceipt Import and none exist. I only know of ARInvoiceEntry and ARCustomer standard imports. If any have been created CUSTOM or special purpose there is no obvious evidence of such.
When I attempt to add one on any in-house system in any release environment, when I go to enter the 'Import Form', only two forms exist. These are ARCustomers, and ARInvoiceEntry. My guess is someone has added the ARCashReceipt form to DDUD (DD: IM Import Form) thinking that is all it would take. By doing so, user would see and could select the AR Cash Receipts form from the IM Template Setup but there is no supporting 'Viewpoint Defaults' routine to go along with it.
This might be an enhancement request to create a Viewpoint Standard AR Cash Receipts import but likely not a BUG.

I see in the Viewpoint Customer portal support their document says "A quote may be requested from our Professional Services Department to see what the cost would be to create one.
An enhancement request may be submitted via the 'Suggestion Box' in the upper right corner of any Vista screen."
We went that route and PS couldn't get it to fully work - money down the drain. Everyone I think would want this!
Have gotten a quote from an external consultant but EXTREMELY expensive.
An AR Cash Receipts import template would be extremely valuable to my client. They have a high volume of invoices which are recorded at a very detailed level. The sheer volume of related cash receipts would make a cash receipts import template invaluable.
