Option to create Leave Accrual batch in different levels of detail. (PR Auto Leave Usage/Accrual) Merged

 

There currently is no way to audit/report the Auto Leave Accrual (how was the leave calculated...what jobs. etc).  The closest thing is to run the Leave History Detail report however it is summarized by timecard entry post date.

 

Would be great to select from various levels of accrual detail (particularly due to the auto accrual with the new PR Leave Levels).  In addition to summary by day, summary by job, summary by day/job, or full detail with an accrual entry for each timecard entry. 

 

Alternatively,  simply create accrual entries in full detail, one entry per timecard entry, and modify the standard leave history report to select the level of detail desired on the report...similar to the PR Timecard Entry report.

 

For ease of payroll runs, ability to set to detail level to use when creating a Leave Entry batch in PR Company Parameters rather than on the Auto Leave form itself.

 

As background, we have implemented PR Leave Levels for Federal Sick Leave.  We do not know what jobs were used as the basis for the accrual and are having a hard time identifying when a PR Leave Level was entered on a job in error or when an employee asks why they didn't accrue leave when they worked on job x.  We are currently stitching together data from the PR Timecard Entry report along with JC Job Master to identify jobs that were set up in error or to satisfy an employee query.

    Another suggestion is to add a tab to the PR Leave Levels form listing the jobs that the Leave Level is applied to.  Jobs can be added to the PR Leave Level form or Leave Levels can be added to the Job Master form.  Either/or.
