ABILITY TO OPEN NEW SCREENS WHEN A PROCESSING WINDOW OR SEARCH BOX IS OPEN

Everything is frozen if you have a search box or a process window open. It'd be wonderful to be able to open up other windows rather than having to search out the one pop-up window that has frozen everything.

  I'd be happy if it at least forced the 'blocking' window to the top so we could see it.
