There absolutely needs to be an area to view history of changes made. For example: if someone changes an equipment code i would like to be able to go in and see who made that change

Management would benefit. All module sshould have it.

    If a SQL query or VA Inquiry isn't convenient, the VA Audit Log Viewer form can be used to find the changes. It can take a little experience to know what tables to look for but support can help if you're unsure. The Equipment Master table is bEMEM, for example.

    If the audit options are turned on, you can also add the audit history to a custom tab on setup forms to display the audit history if desired. Add a VA Inquiry to query the HQMA view and add to a custom tab. I've done this for things such as Jobs and Work Orders.


    You can also add custom fields to the standard audit triggers when needed to track approvals and such.

    Support Manager replied stating "if they do an Equipment Code change it will show on the HQ Audit Detail report that the code was changed."

    Many standard audits are available. Some need to be manually turned on.
