It is easy to forget to perform the GL Beginning Balance Update after a fiscal year-end. This happens more frequently when many users are posting prior-year entries. If the system recognizes that a journal entry is in a prior year it would be nice to get a pop-up reminder to perform the GL Beginning Balance Update.
