I would like to recommend an enhancement to the AP Unapproved Invoice Entry screen in Viewpoint Vista that would greatly benefit our team’s efficiency and accuracy—specifically, the ability to upload multiple lines of coding directly from this screen.

Currently, the process of manually entering line-by-line coding is time-consuming, especially for invoices with a high number of line items (e.g., material-heavy or job-specific invoices with 50+ lines). Allowing for a multi-line import function from the AP Unapproved screen would:

• Streamline data entry for high-volume invoices

• Reduce manual errors from hand-keying coding

• Improve turnaround time for invoice approvals

• Align with the approval workflow, keeping the invoice in the system without requiring workarounds like re-entry through AP Transaction Entry

This enhancement would support our goal of increasing efficiency without sacrificing accuracy or visibility, and it would better align with the system’s existing import/export capabilities.
