Lay-Off Check Feature

In construction, same-day pay is often required for laid-off employees due to union rules. Vista currently requires using an open payroll batch or creating a new one, which can cause issues with pay dates and tax tracking.

Spectrum, another Viewpoint/Trimble product, offers a lay-off check feature that issues the check immediately and processes it in the next payroll cycle. Adding this to Vista would prevent disruptions to current payroll.
