With many general contractors, Project Managers interface approved (owner) change orders as they deal with the customer. Project Administrators or other supporting staff often interface subcontractor change orders. Therefore, PM interface should actually be separated into two functions: "PM Owner Interface" and "PM Subcontract Interface". Sounds like this will never happen as it is simply too complicated an enhancement.
The unintended consequence is that project managers are accidentally interfacing "subcontractor" things, and supporting staff are accidentally interfacing "owner" things.
Compounding this is that the default setting for "PM Interface" is set to "select all" items. This needs to change, or should be customizable like F3 Field settings. We should have the ability to set checkbox next to every item default to being de-selected. This would prevent a lot of unintended interfacing.
At the 2018 Vista Conference, the techs couldn't figure out why there were no F3 settings available to solve this, other than "PM Interface" is "special".
