Copy Down function on Grid

I am a big Grid user, and find myself wanting to use some of the Excel functions in Viewpoint's grid.  One that I would really love to see is the Copy Down function; where you selected a column and x rows you want to copy information from the top row down to the last row selected.  This would be very useful when you need to update a group of records all the same way.

  This would be so helpful in PM Firm Contacts! I'll be able to select and copy the emails in one sweep, instead of individually.

  I have wished for this numerous times, but I also see this creating a large "oops" factor and the potential to cause more harm that help.

  Agreed. Usually I just need a few rows and columns but you have to export the entire grid, which is sometimes quite extensive. Being able to just copy and paste what I need would be so helpful.
