Currently when the adjustment feature to move work completed lines/costs from one work order to another is used, the post month defaults to the system date. While our users really like this feature, they are typically making their month end adjustments the first couple of days into the next month which does not help them with their cost reconciliation. They need to make the adjustments in the prior period which then requires the entry of negative/positive lines being entered then costs have to been processed. It would be helpful if the post month could be changed/adjusted as needed.

While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.
It would also be nice for the work completed line date to be the same or at least editable. If we print detailed invoices, and all the lines are dated 12/25/22, but a moved line is dated 1/18/23, that will create questions for the customer possibly.
