The job billing, job cost and PM project already contain all relevant information for the site, the phases for work to be done, costing and who is paying the bill. As a specialty contractor, quite often we perform maintenance and project related work for the same location but the bills don't go to the same place. To make the job WO work for us, we would have to setup a duplicate site which makes management of data challenging and increases risk of users making wrong selections from the WO or from the field.
Can we create a link on the PM side that identifies when job phases are approved for integration to SM WO's. Then we would be able to create a WO that links to these approved jobs & phases so labour, inventory, misc., equipment and purchase costs would go back to that phase on the job for job cost/job billing?
Most of the functionality is already there, we just need a way to by-pass the need to create an SM site to get it working.
