Ability to adjust the greyed out "After Hours" Times on the SM Dispatch Board

Currently, the dispatch board shows all time slots before 8am and all time slots after 5pm as greyed out. I was wondering if these can be adjusted as some of our franchises start at 6 or 7am and end at 3 or 4 pm.

Apparently there are three colors for the background:

    • White - 8am-5pm, tech "checked" for that day.
    • Pale Grey - 8am-5pm, tech not "checked" for that day. OR 5pm-8am if tech IS "checked" for that day.
    • Darker Grey - 5pm-8am, tech not "checked" for that day.

Oddly enough, changing the Start/End times for the Tech does not change the background colors for the __times__ for those days, only makes the whole row go lighter/darker.

VP? Did someone check this off as feature complete?

Matt, this does not already exist (see Issue #63550). Although you set work schedule by technician, those drive the 'overbooked' warning (pink background). The dispatch board always displays 8a-5p as work hours. You can use scroll bars to display 6am or 7am, but those hours are still greyed out and every time you open the dispatch board, it reverts to 8a-5p. I would love to see a setting in SM Co Params (and Dispatch Board Setup) that drives the default start time on dispatch boards.

What Michael Tomlinson said below is what we were hoping for.

Even when you set available work hours on the Techs, the dispatch board still has everything outside of 8am-5pm in grey - that's what I am seeing.  You can still schedule in the grey area, but it looks as if scheduling happens only between 8am-5pm.  It's confusing especially when you have Techs working different hours.  Would be nice to see that visually on the dispatch board.

Should I put in a support call to see how this works?  I wasn't aware that this was adjustable, we've had this on our enhancement list for at least 6 months.
