We have a cutoff time for invoices to be approved and several times we have had reviewers approve AFTER the cutoff time, then say they approved them in time, we just processed before the time. This would be very helpful for other audit purposes also.

Ken,
If you turn on auditing of Unapproved Invoices in AP Company Parameters the HQMA table will keep a record of the data and time of the invoice approval as well as the actual user that approved the invoice. You could create a custom view that joins the HQMA view with the APTL view to show this data in an easier format.

We'll look at capturing both date and time. The date currently recorded is coming from the server - this will differ if the client accepting and updating the entry is in another time zone - do you foresee this as an issue?.
The APUR view has the date approved, but the time is no longer recorded. It appears that old transactions (from years ago) had the date & time of approval stored.

The time stamp feature is a necessary internal control feature.
This would help us track approvals.
