Like the format of the Payroll Register, but would like to be able to use that format for a Date Range, in addition to each Pay Date. To include, multiple weeks, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.

We had a custom report that does this built YEARS ago (back in the Bidtek).
It is amazing, I use it daily.
We have a sequence filter too, so you can see just seq 1's or all seq's for the time frame, it would be a nice addition to have a seq filter like ' I want to see seq's 1,4,8 only'
Is there a way to see when planned items are estimated for delivery?
We very much need option to run these reports for a selection range of pay dates (not a range of period end dates), especially so that we can verify tax liabilities and other 3rd party remittances. This is important because difference sequences can be paid on different dates. Example, we need ability to combine sequence #3 from last period with sequence #1 of this period to get the liability according to pay dates occurring within this week. Neither PR Register, nor PR Payroll Register Totals permit selection of a pay date range. The totals report is only permitting selection of period end date range.
Correct
Sounds like same data but two distinct needs. 1) extend existing PR Register report to run for a date range - include any/all pay periods within the range and sub totals by employee. 2) similar data and format, but restricted, sorted and totaled based on paid date (instead of pay period date). Do I have that right?
What we want it for is to be able to run the same payroll register for multiple weeks. So we would get Employee 1 and show 3 weeks and then a total for each employee.
So that we can see what they've done over two weeks, or a month etc.
We don't really mind about paid dates because it's pretty useless to us and most construction people in Australia as we have to pay the following day
To confirm - the request is to report total employee earnings, deductions, and liabilities (using the PR Register format) over a range of paid dates - w/o regard to pay period ending date (i.e. may print partial pay period data).
For instance, if mid-week layoffs occurred and were paid out early (i.e. before normal weekly pay run), and a report date was selected that fell after the lay-offs but before the remaining pay period payments - then only the layoffs would be included. Correct?
The report selection criteria would be: PRCo, PRGroup, Beginning Paid Date, Ending Paid Date
Sort options would include: Employee# or Name
Totals would span the date range selected w/o regard to pay period or month
Include an option to print Totals only:
When will this be completed?
Greg - PR Payroll Register Totals gives you the option to run by PR End Date, not paid date. The option I think everyone is looking for here is to be able to run a report for a PAID date, not period end date. I know that is something we are very interested in getting.
Because payroll tax liabilities are determined by pay date, it would be extremely helpful to be able to run the payroll register for a specific date or range of pay dates. This would be especially useful for employee terminations and for preparing quarterly reports.

The existing PR Payroll Register Totals report (#954) will print totals across a date range - weeks, months, etc., but does not include employee detail. Sounds like Nathan's approach - offer a date range w/in the existing PR Payroll Register Report (#845) and page on pay period will meet the need. Agree?
Or be able to specify a range, and it would spit out a sheet for each pay period, just as if you'd pulled the report for just that period only.
AP at our company has been asking for this for a couple years. Any update VP?
