Employees find it difficult when working on certified jobs to know how their compensation ties out to the Wage Decisions posted on job sites. Since all that currently shows up on the paystub is the total liability amount, an employee would have to divide their hours by the liability amount to arrive at the fringe credit.
In addition, since the cash fringe payment shows the same description for each different cash fringe rate paid, the employee can't tell what the cash fringe payment applies to or the number of hours they are being paid the cash fringe. It would be extremely helpful if this information was automatically included on paystubs to eliminate (actually to cut down on) any confusion. As long as the government is involved, I don't think there is any way to eliminate confusion caused by government regulations.
