Voluntary union deductions, such as: HRA, 401k, FED PAC, etc., need to have a future effective date. For example, a dispatch received from the union for a 401k change, effective 10-1-17, cannot be implemented on 10-1-17 for just that day or two (the remaining days left in your payroll period). If I implemented the change on 10-1-17, Vista would take the changed rate for the entire pay period, not just for 10-1-17 (and the remaining days in the pay period). So, I have to wait another week to implement the change and then require the employee pay us back for the difference since we will have to pay the changed amount to the union effective 10-1-17.

Working around not having an effective date the PR Employee...Dedns/Liabs has also been a big issue for me. having an old and new rate to override the craft master for an employee specific voluntary deduction election is definatly a need.
