We are looking to implement barcodes on inventory items. We would like for users to be able to scan an items barcode, enter quantity, and enter job number. We want this to update the inventory of the item within Vista. Currently there is no native application that links to Vista. We will need to create an application that generates a .csv file from the scanning device and create a script that will upload the .csv and update the inventory within Vista. This would be much easier if Viewpoint had a native application that could be used.
