The PR check stubs have the option to add the file status and the exemptions. Since you can no longer claim exemptions on the 2020 W4's, the dependent amount also needs to be available on the PR check stub.

Fed tax will still calculate based on # of exemptions if an employee has not filed a new W-4. I suspect we should leave that visible for those that have not yet fully converted to the new W-4. For those that have updated W-4 info, there seems to be a consensus that the check stub and EFT remittance would print the total credit amount, adjustment amount, and multi-job Y/N
Update?
Is there a time frame for this?
I was thinking about the information that replaced the total number of deductions on the old form. On the 2020 W-4, that would be the numbers in step 3 and 4. Thanks Gary!
I would like the dependent amount and the add-on plus the rate/amount please. Having multiple jobs would be nice also - never thought of that!
Which values from the W4 would you expect to print on the stub beyond marital status? (e.g. multiple jobs Y/N, dependent amount, other income, other deductions)
Anyone that fills out a 2020 W-4 has their stub show up as 0 since the field no longer exists. There is ample space on the line below.
