AP Payment Workfile Compliance Flag Based on Payment Date (Current Date) Instead of Invoice Date.

In AP Payment Workfile, transactions that are out of compliance show as red. This is a really handy feature for us. However, how it determines if it is out of compliance is something we would like to adjust, perhaps a setting in AP Company Parameters to allow companies to choose how compliance is calculated. Currently, the compliance is looking at the expiration date of the compliance item as it compares to the invoice date. However, for us, we are looking at the current date (or payment date) vs. expiration to determine compliance. For example, if an item expired yesterday, all unpaid invoices for that vendor should show as red today. Instead, it is looking at the invoice date and determining it is in compliance as of that past date.
