I didn't know ahead of time that VP only sorts Combo Boxes on the seq number, which cannot be changed, so as we go along and add new values to these boxes, the sort is all wrong. The only workaround is to create a lookup for this to add a sort, which is a lot of work. Why can't the Combo Box have a Sort key like most other VA forms (Inquires, Lookups etc)?

Our workaround was to make each item initially with a sequence 10 part. Not perfect, but at least allows one to add new items without reworking the entire list.
Another method is to have someone create a stored procedure that takes the list, copies to a temp table, deletes the items, then inserts them back in from the temp table, ordered by the DESCRIPTION field. Not a complex SP, just annoying.
