I find it surprising that users do not need a way to look up the history of a HQ Material code to find units history over a given period of time. Beyond creating a custom report we do not have the ability to easily marry information from the AP and EM modules. For instance, we have HQ Material codes set up for fuel purchases. I was trying to compile a report that showed the gallons of fuel purchased over the last three years, averaging prices every month and separating the information out by vendor. This information exists in the system, but there is no way to gather it quickly. This information is extremely helpful when meeting the vendors to negotiate pricing, but also to look for trends in pricing quickly and easily.
